Terms of Application for Checked Out Stays

1. Overview

By submitting an application to Checked Out, you agree to these Terms of Application and acknowledge that your information will be reviewed by our team for potential participation in Checked Out stays.

Checked Out is a curated hotel stay designed for solo guests. Applications are assessed at our discretion. Submission does not guarantee selection or an invitation to book.

2. Application Scope

Your application may also be considered for: the upcoming Checked Out stay you selected (e.g., Marbella, September 2025), and future Checked Out stays, based on availability and suitability. You will be notified of your application outcome by email.

3. Accuracy of Information

You confirm that all information submitted in your application is accurate and current, including your age and identity details. Providing false or misleading information may result in your application being declined or withdrawn.

4. Communication

By applying, you agree that

• We may contact you with information regarding the outcome of your application
• We may contact you in relation to other future stays, subject to your suitability
• You will only receive marketing or promotional communications (e.g. new stay announcements, offers, or newsletters) if you explicitly opt in via the marketing checkbox on the application form
• This marketing opt-in is separate from operational emails relating to your application or selection status

5. Data Use & Privacy

Your data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes:

• Reviewing your application
• Contacting you about your application status and potential suitability for future stays
• Securely storing your profile for internal use
• Using email engagement data (e.g., opens, clicks) to optimise communication, where consent has been given
• Supporting internal planning and insights to improve future Checked Out stays
• If you choose to book, your booking contract will be with the hotel. The hotel may share limited personal data with us (e.g. name, nationality, dietary preferences) only as necessary to:
   
  • Confirm your participation
   
  • Send booking confirmations and stay-related communications
   
  • Manage the guest list and room allocations
   
  • Coordinate activities and schedules
   
  • Provide tailored communications before, during, and after your stay
   
  • Support you throughout the Checked Out experience

6. Selection Criteria

Checked Out reserves the right to accept, decline, or waitlist any application at its sole discretion. Selection is based on various factors, including event requirements, group dynamics, and internal review. We do not use automated decision-making to assess applications.

7. NO OBLIGATION TO BOOK

If accepted, you will be invited to book when registration opens. Booking is entirely optional and subject to availability. If you choose to proceed with a booking, your contract (including payment terms and cancellation policy) will be directly with the hotel.

Checked Out will remain responsible only for organising and managing the Checked Out programme.

8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These Terms of Application may be updated from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected by a revised effective date posted at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing them periodically to stay informed.
